THE CHOSEN ZION MINISTRY UGANDA

I LOVE YOU ALL

Words from the Founder

  Dear Friends,

More than 104 million of children around the world living in extreme poverty cannot receive an education simply because of impact fees. They can't afford the required fee for uniforms, textbooks, registration and educational supplies. More than 60 million of children that can't attend school are girls. Give a Kid a Backpack is one way to make a difference in a young person's education. Since our inception, over 14,000 children have received a backpack filled with school supplies from the Give a Kid a Backpack. These backpacks are a symbol of hope and encouragement to continue going to school. Education is a proven intervention for improving the lives of all people, including children. Educating girls yields benefits for the current and future generations, and specifically including child survival, children in family, immunization, and child protection. I hope you could consider new ways to give a gift. You can give in honor of a family member or friends. We will send them a card notifying them of your gift and the project it will be used to support.
